I be very satisfied at how speedily the binoculars arrived. They worked out perfectly at the concert we attended!
Optically great, but switch fell apart, May 13, 2009
There is a push-button to turn on a small reading light. Unfortunately, the first time these opus glasses were used, the switch fell apart and a coil spring fell out. We could not find the coil spring and when we reassembled the switch lacking the spring, the light would stay on all the time. Consequently, we have to remove the battery, which meant that the street light could no longer be used.
I loved the look and feel of these, but gave them as a bequest., January 11, 2007
Since these were a gift, I've no thought of the quality of viewing. I would have hear if there were defect, so I can only assume they worked as good as they looked.

Definitely not worth the price. The viewing capacity is pitiful - you might as well get a cheap 8x20 binoculars and use that as opus glasses.
Small, smart and fun, February 16, 2007
I bought these opera eyeglasses to use at the theatre. They are pretty, fit well inside my purse, and facilitate to get a little more up close and personal near the stage. They magnify 3x; I wish it was only just a couple degrees more, but for the price, they are great!
