Works as well as the canon battery that come with the camera, September 13, 2010
Works as well as the canon mobile that came with the camera. Save yourself some money and buy these generics.
Replacement Batteries, September 17, 2010
Well conceivably it's me but the batteries don't seem to closing as long as the original and what can I expect for so cheap. But they work and they have not messed up my resourceful charger, which I heard from another review that it could. But having the extra battery comes in handy!
Money well worth spent, June 2, 2010
These mobile packs each hold (650mAh) which is approx 1/2 the mAh than Canon's battery pack (1120mAh). This means they end half as long and they charge twice as fast. Both of these battery are tantamount to 1 Canon battery but is half the price. I can pinch over 700 pictures in 4hours with one of these mobile packs with my Canon T2i constantly on and the pic review set at 2seconds and the freestyle meter will not even drop one bar. These battery pack are well worth the money spent.
Great for the price but not a replacement, December 13, 2010
The easiest comparison is to take video next to one of the batteries vs. the genuine. They are great for photos but if you obligation to take video forget about it because they will drain within about 15-20 min. Genuine canon battery doubled that slickly. For the price these batteries are an amazing deal.
Great back-up batt for the T2i / 550D, May 29, 2010
What I know roughly this battery after using it for 3 charge cycles: It may out-perform the OEM battery contained by terms of total number of shots / video per charge. It's voltage is slightly higher than the Canon OEM battery-operated so you may have some battery meter issues. On my T2i 550D the indicator shows full freestyle life when it's nearly dead. I've also see it show half life when its in truth dead. This must be from the voltage difference. Luckily there will be a alarm flashing you can't ignore and can then loose change it out. If you are going to use it for video only, you'll get to know the go cycle and change the battery out proactively when you regard it's getting low. I see other reviews that don't experience the meter issue so it may only effect certain models. I still use my Canon mobile as the primary but overall for money it's a safe bet for back-up batteries.
2 Pack LP-E8 LPE8 Equivalent Battery for Canon EOS Rebel 550D, Rebel T2i, August 30, 2010
2 Pack LP-E8 LPE8 Equivalent Battery for Canon EOS Rebel 550D, Rebel T2i highly good product!! last longer than the innovative battery.
Nice and cheap..., April 28, 2010
I ordered these because I like to own lots of battery back up and these are cheap. I enjoy noticed that they don't last as long as Canon's, but you're paying partially of what Canon's go for. I'm sure the battery enthusiasm won't last as long either, but I've one and only had them for about a month.
Seem great to me., August 1, 2010
I haven't have mine long enough to comment on overall life of these battery. I bought them to be emergency backups and for the price I would be happy next to only a few hours. So far I've shot almost an hour of video and about 90 photos on the first charge. Camera still read full power so these met my expectations perfectly.
EDIT after some time: These are great. First pair of these (in a batter grip) simply died and needed charging. Hundreds of photos taken in that time and almost an hour of experimental videos. Best worth Ive ever had in camera battery.
As advertised, August 20, 2010
To be honest I haven't really had a fully clad chance to but these batteries through their respective pace yet. I did charge them up, flew them to Louisiana with me and they held their charge over a week long time in the mid July heat and humidity next to no problem.
