5.0 out of 5 stars Best battery deal out nearby!, May 14, 2010
This battery is simply awesome. I purchased it as a backup battery for my 40D. I embezzle lots of long exposures at night to create star trails. typically I'll take multiple 5 minute exposures over long period. For this type of photography the Wasabi power replacement battery outperforms the original canon mobile. The canon battery can normally give somebody a lift about 2 hours worth of continuous long exposures before the freestyle dies. The Wasabi replacement can easily go 3 hours. I'm finding that I'm immediately using this battery as my primary battery, and the canon untested has been relegated to backup. All contained by all, this is a good deal. Cheaper and a better dancer. I'm planning on picking up another one for my camera bag.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just get one...., February 4, 2009
I feel the original battery be pretty good in my 40D. I could transport about 900 pictures with it. This replacement freestyle goes forever. Since I am still in swot mode, I tend to take multiple shots at various settings. The freestyle lasted a week, with 10% flash, constant picture review, constantly mortal left on....

Just get one. Besides, you should hold a spare on hand anyways.

1.0 out of 5 stars beware, October 29, 2010
I bought this battery and what I received be a battery not as pictured. Not only that the battery-operated didn't fit my Canon Powershot G2 camera. I sent it back for another and low and behold they sent the same one again. Buyer beware!

5.0 out of 5 stars OEM? Why?!?!? I'll steal this battery any day of the week., March 20, 2010
I ordered two of these battery about a month ago. I charged them both up (they came to a certain extent charged) and put them both into my battery grip on my Canon 5D. Since then I own shot about 500-1000 pics involving all kind of AF and flash work and both batteries still show full charge.
Functionality is superb and the construction is identical to Canon's innovative BP-511A @ 1390 m-Ah.
Save some money and go to a more powerful battery by purchasing these.
I notably recommend this item.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good Battery Life, But?, January 25, 2009
The battery holds a charge well but the physical size of this mobile is just slightly smaller, (In Width) than the original and as such make for a sloppy fit. I'm using this on a Canon ZR50. It hasn't fallen off, of late isn't snug. I don't regret buying it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Does everything it's supposed to at a reasonable price, May 12, 2010
The Title tells the full story. The battery works perfectly for a long time contained by a Canon 40D

5.0 out of 5 stars WOW!, May 22, 2009
I purchased this battery for my Canon 40D, and I have to recount you, this is the best battery deal out here. The factory battery is a respectable 1390mAh, but this battery is 2000mAh. I took almost a thousand pictures beside it last weekend at a car show and still have battery left. That's dazzling. Two of these are all you could ever need. My one and only gripe is that it's a little loose in my charger, it still works though. Go seize a couple of these things.

2.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't perform as advertised., November 4, 2010
I bought two of these since they be rated at 2000mAh and the genuine Canon battery were only rate at 1390mAh. Big mistake. My Canon batteries run a slideshow on my camera for almost 6 hours. That means these battery ought to go for more than 8 hrs. Instead they last smaller quantity than 4 hrs. Same test. And my Canon batteries are 5 years infirm. If my Canon batteries are still 1390mAh, then these ought to be rate at 925 mAh, definitely not 2000mAh.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Storage Capacity For The Price, October 18, 2009
Seriously, who writes a review of a battery? After adjectives, it's just a battery. Not necessarily so. The Canon battery-operated costs more and has less storage size. When purchasing batteries, be sure to look at the storage capacity of the battery in question. The storage size of batteries this size is expressed in mAh (milli ampere hours). The highly developed the mAh number, the more energy the battery stores. This battery-operated has almost 44% more storage capacity than the Canon mobile. Want to compare more batteries? Try this - divide the cost of the battery by the number of mAh. For this mobile, $24.67 divided by 2000 (mAh) equals $.0123 per mAh. For the Canon battery, $37.59 divided by 1390 (mAh) equals $.027 per mAh. By the way, I use this mobile in my Canon EOS-40D.

1.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely AVOID This Product, August 20, 2010
Purchased this battery as a replacement to my ingenious camcorder battery. First time I used it, following a full charge, it lasted for almost 15 minutes. Recharged it and again it went for about 15-20 minutes. I'm not a unwieldy duty camcorder person so I don't really ask for alot from a battery. The mobile that came with the section lasted for at least an hour and a partially before needing a charge. I STRONGLY recommend finding anothe mobile supplier.
