Not an acceptable replacement for Canon batteries., April 28, 2010
Moderate use of two of these battery rendered one completely dead within four months and the other does not complete well.
The Battery I've Been Looking For, October 14, 2009
If, like me, you're tired of going through these after-market battery that don't cost much, but don't do much either, yet you don't want to salary more than $40.00 for Canon's OEM cells, this is the battery for you. I put two of these within my Rebel XTI with BG-E3 grip in July, and after more or less 500 pictures and 3 months of downloading, reviewing and deleting, they still show a full charge. The last set of battery I had wouldn't even hold a charge after 3 months. At about partly the price of Canon's batteries, these are a steal. These will be the only battery going into my camera from now on.
Canon G9 Battery, September 10, 2009
The batteries worked great- charged on my current Canon charger and last much longer than anticipated. I needed extra batteries on a trip to the Grand Canyon and they were excellent!
Good utility, but not as good as the factory Canon battery, April 6, 2010
I bought this mobile for my Canon G9 as a backup for a trip to south america. I took an average of 100 pictures per day and some days would need two battery to last me through morning to night. What I notice over the 2 week period was that the OEM freestyle charged as fast as the Canon original mobile, but it would not hold as long a charge (there were several times I would start with the Canon innovative battery, run out of power in the afternoon, switch to the OEM, run out of power within a couple hours, then go support to the Canon original battery.) For partially the price as the original battery, I guess explicitly the trade off you have to wage.
