When I discovered that the inventive batteries for my Panasonoic DMC-TZ1 camera (which, BTW, is very polite too) listed for almost $60.00 each, I sought an alternative (naturally!). I tried these, and didn't expect much, but they are turning out pretty economically. One battery lasts for 3-4 hours between charges, i.e. for a short afternoon of shooting (less than the original, but not bad), and they recharge in about alike time as the originals. I've recharged these at least a dozen times minus much apparent loss of performance. I enjoy to admit, they are not as good as the $50-$60 original, but for the price, they are a bargain. I'm about to demand 6 more.
