5.0 out of 5 stars Canon battery works great, May 24, 2008
Canon replacement batteries use to cost more surrounded by the past but when I saw this Bargaincell battery on Amazon, I fixed to try it out. I thought it was a great price to start with, and after trying it out contained by my Canon IS800, I was able to shoot a full 2 GB SD card worth of pictures and video. This is pious for a battery to hold up too. I recommend buying this replacement battery or to find for an extra backup when you can't charge the original. Well worth it!!

4.0 out of 5 stars More than adequate, October 3, 2008
I bought four assuming that at tiniest one would fail, they all worked. All for a price of smaller quantity than $20 (about $5 each with shipping), so it be still much less than one canon battery. They don't later as long as the canon which is why I gave a four star review, but for the price it was still worth it. I used them intensively for three weeks beside no issues. I wonder how they will hold up over the long haul, but so far, so good.

1.0 out of 5 stars Lower power knock bad..., March 26, 2009

This battery produces less power (780mAh) compared to the Canon battery-operated at 1120mAh. A 33% difference. This also affects sustained power available to the camera to charge the flash or operate lens motors, and decreases the amount of useful freestyle life you'll receive.

I would get one of these as a back-up, but I would not depend on it one bit. If Canon specifies a 1120mAh freestyle, they do so because it will work reliably in the camera over its entire temperature array (and over the life of the camera) to give you predictable and reliable gig. Using a lower power battery could cause any number of intermittent, nagging problems (that I've experienced adjectives too much as a photographer.)

Buyer beware. :-)

Purchased 3, and they all seem to work. At this price you can afford to buy several to hold on hand when you need them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent singer, February 19, 2010
Liked this battery. As a real canon freestyle replacement its a good option.
I bought this 3 month pay for & used a lot.
Actually you are getting much more then you reward for it.

1.0 out of 5 stars it dies, February 15, 2008
I bought this one as an extra battery, but it stopped working after 6 months. After that it didn't charge up or hold a charge.

4.0 out of 5 stars Canon replacement battery, December 19, 2009
I be skeptical that this battery could be a good replacement, but the price be so low I had to try it. It works fine. Battery life is a moment or two less than the original, but I expected that due to the lower amp-hour dimensions. I bought two of them to make up for the difference. It plugs in to the camera exactly resembling the original, there is no difference within the physical size. A good value.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great barter!, April 2, 2008
So far this battery is working just as all right as the $50 Canon I bought at the camera store. At this price I would recommend having a few spare around so you don't miss any good photo opportunity!

5.0 out of 5 stars Cannot beat this deal!, December 6, 2008
I be very skeptical about this freestyle because of the price, but I figured it was so inexpensive I might as economically try it since I wouldn't be losing that much cash. Wow, was I surprised. This freestyle performs on par with the canon battery-operated that came with the camera. I bought 2. Why gamble away your money on a name brand with product approaching these around?

4.0 out of 5 stars Worth the price, September 11, 2009
These are worth the price, so get a few, Life is about partially as OEM, but worth it
