Great Flash- highly recommended, February 18, 2008
Love the Tripod- it is extremely lightweight and so easy to set up. As soon as I get the flash, I inserted the batteries and starting taking pictures. I did test with the Speedllite and with the pop-up flash on my Cannon unorthodox xti. Definitely a great difference in the close up portraits I took. No Red eye and with the speedlight, the table lamp was a bit brighter. The big difference was when I put a diffuser on the Speedlite. Made the photos look bright but short the bright contrast. I recommend the OMEW Omni Bounce diffuser to put on the flash when taking portraits. Very inexpensive and does the job. I took my camera with strange flash to an event where I took over 250 portraits and all come out great with the Speedlite. Did not have to revise the batteries at all.
