Bower SFD926N Nikon i-TTL Power Zoom Flash Reviews

not bad, definitely a devout price, April 29, 2009
I've only had my flash for a few weeks, but I'm pleased. Considering that that the Nikon flash unit are an extra hundred or so dollars more than this one, it really can't be beat. I can't say that the the built-in diffuser is extremely impressive, but it wouldn't take much to a moment ago get a separate diffuser for a couple of bucks. Also, the unit is comparatively big and heavy, but few aren't. The flash has an exposure guide on the put a bet on, which is completely useless, as you'll probably be letting the camera's TTL calculations do all the work - that's what I do, anyway.
In sum, its cheap, and it get the job done. If you're an amateur like me, this is a much better road to go than the official Nikon unit.
Bower Flash for Nikon, January 7, 2010
This flash seems to be perfect for the few times I entail an external flash. It works with the automatic digital camera and the price is economical. I have used it individual a few times but it seems to do the trick. It does not seem as sturdy as the comparable one from Nikon but it is smaller quantity then 1/2 the price and for the few times I need it,it is immaculate. I would recommend it.
Good, but needs more Information to compair other Products/Flash Unites!, June 15, 2009
I had a rock-hard time trying to find out the necessary or proper information-Specifications to this Bower SFD926N and other "Bower Flash Units" (Bower SFD35N). It is much harder to determine if the Flash unite I needed and/or required is the right or correct one to be used without the proper information being scheduled, right Folks!
It seemed to have most or adjectives the features I needed for my two Nikon cameras, a D-80 and a D-300. Even the "Bower Web site" does not have that much information. [...]
Junk!, January 30, 2010
This flash stopped working the first time I used it. I contacted the seller (Cameta Camera) through Amazon. Never received a reply. I completed up buying a Nikon SB 600.
Very satisfied, April 11, 2010
Repeat of everything that has be said. It was a great first flash; I think I would own been very disappointed beside the sb400 at the same price. Now I just want to pick up a cheap radio trigger transmitter/receiver so I can use it off-camera remotely. The optical slave capability is cool though. I bought it with the intention of using it strictly as a hot shoe mounted flash, but afterwards realized how much there be to do using off camera lighting. The manual settngs will allow you to do this. Very content, mostly because it will do everything I'd like and I can put my money towards other items.
The only drawback to buying this 3rd group flash...is that's it's a 3rd party flash. When I had question, it was very rugged to find relevant answers on the Internet because it seems that 95% of people stuck to nikon brand flashes or others. Don't tolerate that stop you.
