Great Lights, Low Price, August 16, 2010
I have had my Britek Light set going on 4 years presently and they are just wonderful. I use them in both my studio and during on location sessions and cannot voice enough about how great they execute. They actually seem approaching they are cheaply made, but they are not. I have taken well over 3000 similes with these lights and have not have any of the bulbs go out on me. They also work great as slaves when I want to use my SB 800 as the main lighting source. I in actual fact have one of the lights mounted to my ceiling in the studio as a pelt light/background light and the slave feature have never failed me even in low standard lamp conditions when I have my flash set on very low settings.
The stands are a moment or two cheap and I have replaced them with Amvona models. Also, purely due to wear and usage, I have gone through numerous umbrellas (shoot through and reflective) and soft boxes, but the lights just will not dispense out on me.
I keep thinking I should get a unknown set of lights, but these just don't die and they have never erstwhile me. They remind me of the Energizer Bunny that just keeps going and going and going.
I significantly recommend this brand for their durability and long lasting performance. Also, they are sold at a great price and when you add on the two factors together, they are the best bang for your buck!
