4.0 out of 5 stars Great Price, November 9, 2009
This is a good buy for the price. It is a little flimsy but it does come near a carrying case. it is light immensity and easy to move around. the legs are made of aluminum.i am kind of rough beside my stuff and I had it for over a month now and I haven't broken it however so it passed my test of durability.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very useful, December 9, 2008
I've owned this tripod for almost 9 months immediately and I love it! I've actually taken it to long trips such as Las Vegas, NY, and San Francisco and it's been unbelievably handy for long exposure shots,it's a little bit unstable when it's windy but nil that can be solved by holding it down, it's really light and comes with a convenient pouch.

I'm only giving it 4 stars because there are better brands that would probably grant you a more stable grip, but overall it's a really good buy if you're on a budget.

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for our purpose, September 11, 2008
We needed a very wispy, very portable and very inexpensive tripod for a short term of work at our church. This has been idyllic for the job. The adjustments move smoothly, the camera is held firmly and it folds rapidly to fit into the storage/carry case.

This is not a professional metal tripod -- don't expect that in this price capacity. However, it is good for tourist type travel and general usage. I would recommend it for anyone next to these requirements.

I would purchase again for our own use or for a gift.

5.0 out of 5 stars light, jammy to carry, very adjustable, September 12, 2009
It have a level in it, uncomplicated adjust legs, a sturdiness that's surprising for such a light weight tripod. It adjust to over five feet, folds smoothly, and great for hikes, or timed pictures.

5.0 out of 5 stars Cheap and serves the purose, February 2, 2009
The product is really cheap but serves the purpose. It is easy to setup and near is nothing much to it really. There is a level stage to set up the level correctly. Rods a mix of plastic and aluminium. It is light and graceful to carry around. Good product overall.

2.0 out of 5 stars Garbage! Embarrassingly unreliable, January 21, 2010
After I got this tripod I be shocked at how garbage it was. I don't relish writing bad reviews but I believe this product merits them.

Pros:
-Weight (obviously cheap material, lots of plastic)

Cons:
-Flimsy
-Not extraordinarily versatile
-Panning was not smooth
-This point was meant for a point-and-shoot, not a immense DSLR of ANY kind
-Cannot handle the solidity of even the lightest DSLR well without the director falling over itself.

As one reviewer said. This is a kid toy. Give it to a 11-yr old and watch him shoot everything contained by a backyard or a park. Give it to me or anyone who really wants to learn photography and appropriation well-exposed compositions and we'll most likely chuck it out the window. The $14 price strip for this should've told me something. However, price is not always an indicator of quality as we adjectives know.

I bought a Qsx-9502 from this site for a little more (~$28). And there are MAJOR differences.

This have come in handy for our telephoto lens. It also is nice to be able to hold everyone in the photos at one time.
