I got this because I already had Skullcandy's Ink'd microphone version. which were pretty cheap only 30 dollars although if you shop around you can get them for 20. anyway my phone with the sole purpose had a 2.5mm jack so I decided that I would get a converter. this seems to be the cheapest converter but it has gold plated ends so that is very good. the nouns quality is also very good... 4.0 out of 5 stars it seems to work for calls but my phone freezes up when its plugged in, July 9, 2010
I got this because I already had Skullcandy's Ink'd microphone version. which be pretty cheap only 30 dollars although if you shop around you can get them for 20. anyway my phone only had a 2.5mm jack so I decided that I would get a converter. this seems to be the cheapest converter but it has gold plated ends so i.e. very good. the sound quality is also very good but that is probably dependent on the headphones.

the only flaw I found be that my phone froze when the headphones were pluged in which is very strange and I think that it is not this adapter's fault though it might be.
