Canon EF 14mm f 2.8L, April 27, 2009
This lens works like I would expect to see in a premium Canon lens. I desire I could have spent a few extra bucks for the upgraded version.

This lens have been replaced by updated new EF 14mm f/2.8L II USM which offer better distortion control and higher contrast. Improvement is worthwhile.

this lens is one of my favorite it is great for landscapes but at impossible to tell apart time the autofocus is fast enough for me to know how to capture moving items as well. i enjoy heard in other reports that the CA(chromatic aberation) can be see around the edges of the image when using this lens but in thousands of metaphors i have only notice it a very few times.
